Anusara Hill Country Weekend Retreat

Take a short trip to the Hill Country to remind yourself how to relax and renew and to enjoy a spring re-awakening. Fredericksburg will be our destination as we enjoy a weekend of yoga, great food, relaxing and shopping.

We arrive Friday evening and will unwind with a relaxing hour of yoga.

Saturday morning our practice will energize us as we awaken to the beauty of nature that surrounds us. We will align our bodies with the grace and flow of Anusara Yoga.

Then we have time for lunch before we depart for a trip to Willow City Loop. If you have not been, you will be delighted at the spectacular views from this famous area of the Hill Country. If you have seen it before you know the beauty of nature is like new with each viewing. Saturday afternoon we will have once again enjoy a fun yoga practice.

Saturday evening after dinner we will gather to create something special!

Sunday we will conclude our time together with a fun morning practice before our journey home.

The cost of this Weekend Retreat includes your stay at the Fredericksburg Inn, full breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning and all yoga classes.

Spring Awakening Weekend Workshop
The Lodge on Whidbey Island

Saturday 9 am to 12 noon : As the winter bids us farewell the spring offers us renewal and gives us the gift of glorious gardens arrayed with every hue.  A fun morning of asana as varied as the wild flowers of spring. 

Saturday 2 pm to 4 pm: Easy does it: the flowers bloom slowly, magnificently from their own heart. We will take our time to enjoy an afternoon of asana and Pranayama.

Sunday 9 am to12 noon: Every garden has it's unique design, variety  and beauty. A variety of poses this afternoon with helpful tips for therapeutic adjustments and a way to release the art in your poses. Celebrate the season of spring!

La Conner, Washington is a small quiet town close to the San Juan Islands. It is a community that has drawn artists and writers with its tranquil beauty.

It is located in the Skagit Valley, a farming community known for its beautiful spring flowers, summer berries and a never ending supply of fresh market goods.

It is a glorious location for a yoga retreat! From the Seattle Airport you take a convenient shuttle, which brings you to the Skagit Valley. Only minutes away from La Conner is the ferry to the San Juan Islands, magnificent hiking trails, the Rainbow Bridge, Deception Pass, Mt. Baker and the Cascade Mountains. Spectacular galleries and the best shops in the area are right down the street from our Retreat Inn.

A $150.00 non-refundable deposit will hold your space. The balance will be due April 1, 2008.
